This is a nice VERY clean little place, though while staying here you will definetly feel away from the main feel of Helen Georgia. The rooms are very clean and modern, and they do have a nice small pool, and when I stayed here even during the dead of summer, I had the pool to myself for most of the day. I stayed here for the price I got during one of their regular specials. It’s located almost across the street from the Helen Water Park. If you want a place where you can keep your car parked and walk to the shops this would not be it, it’s quite a walking distance from the Helen Ga. main Alpine Village area.

This hotel much like a few others in Helen Georgia just doesn’t really have the getaway feel to it. I think it’s the general interior and exterior atmosphere along with location that creates the real Helen Georgia getaway vacation feel that I like. But anyway, decide for yourself, and if you can get the right price then you may feel different about your stay here.

Overall I can't complain a bit, the staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were very well kept and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and even the small free brekfeast in the lobby was decent. They also have wireless internet access available in the rooms, and in the lobby which saved me with a office emergency I had to resolve while I was there.

Heres a hint: If you are getting a room Monday - Thursday, ask about thier $39.00 per night special. It's advertised off and on at the visitors center, but if you don't ask, you won't get it.
