Helen Georgia Hayloft

Offering a full bar with a large selection of draft beers, also a large selection of both import and domestic bottled beer, along with wine selections from Redwood Creek, the Hayloft is needs to be on your list of spots to visit while in Helen Georgia.

The theme is an old style unique neighborhood local bar environment. The environment is very comfortable, with dim lighting, an outdoor deck off the second story with umbrellas for shade, and decorative string lighting for a casual evening somewhat romantic flare. The environment at the hayloft makes a perfect setting to visit alone, or as a nice casual low key spot to take a partner for dinner and a drink.

The Hayloft offers a lunch menu, a dinner menu, and also, a late night menu of excellent foods. I typically am leery of foods served in any type of bar setting, but I gave a few menu items a shot. The wings with fourteen different flavors were probably among the best wings I’ve ever tasted, and believe me, I have been a very picky connoisseur of wings my whole life. All wings are served with your choice of ranch or bleu cheese dressing, and also your choice of celery or carrots.

I enjoyed just hanging out at this place with its welcoming, warm and friendly atmosphere, that I came back the next day, and had the open face prime rib sandwich. This was probably the best sandwich I have ever had, the meat was perfectly tendered and moist, and left me completely full, but definitely desiring to return there for another upon my next visit to Helen Georgia.

So the next time you’re in Helen Georgia, visit the Hayloft. This is definitely a local, just hang out for a few hours and enjoy the atmosphere type of place.
