Helen Ga Super 8 Motel

This is a nice place to stay, it’s a fairly close walking distance to the main shopping are of Helen Georgia, and has a really nice indoor pool. The rooms were very clean, and the layout of the exterior was fairly inviting, and offered that sort of cozy mountain getaway feel. It’s a fairly basic motel, not any amenities to speak of, just your basic room.

They got me on the price. You should definitely call around and compare prices before choosing this place. I stayed here one time when all the hotels in Helen were booked, and I was not in the mood for camping, so I spent the money and stayed here.

I did take full advantage of the indoor pool, and yes it was very relaxing in the evening. If you’re here to trout fish on the Chattahoochee, and want to walk to the river from your room, you may want to look at some closer spots, but if you just want to be near enough to walk to the Helen Georgia shopping area, this will do.
