This is a nice place to stay. Hampton Inn offers Very nice rooms, a nice elegant entrance and lobby, and a small private secluded sparkling clean pool. The motel is built on the Chattahoochee River, but it is several hundred feet from the river, so don’t expect that on the river view or feel, although you can see the river from the balcony of the rooms located at the rear of the motel.

Located a few hundred feet behind the pool is a nice picnic area with grills for picnics or grilling out. The stretch of river running directly behind the hotel, and down to the Riverbend motel is one of the best stretches of rainbow trout fishing in Helen Georgia hands down. If you can’t wade the Chattahoochee River along this stretch and catch your limit either their not biting or you don’t know how to fish for trout. You can walk back here, catch a fresh rainbow trout dinner, and cook it up right here on the grill.

The architecture is Bavarian Style which fits well with the Helen Georgia theme.
You can walk a short distance, and be in the main Helen Georgia shopping area, so this eliminates the need for driving everywhere, or paying for daily parking.

They offer free high speed wireless internet access, there are one and two room suites available with gas log fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, microwave, and refrigerators.

They have a fairly decent continental breakfast with a few good hot items also. There is a decent size fitness center available for a basic low impact workout.

If needed, they also offer a small meeting space for up to forty people, and catering services also available.
