There’s really nothing real spectacular about this place, but just a good budget motel with a fairly decent location. I have stayed here on several occasions, and been very satisfied. You can walk almost directly across the street to the Chattahoochee River, and start trout fishing along one of the best stretches for trout fishing from here down to the Riverbend Hotel, and you can also keep your car parked and it’s just a very short walk to the main shopping area of Helen Georgia. The motel is located almost directly across the street from Betty’s Country Store.

One thing I really like about staying here on occasion is that it’s closer to the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Area. There are times that I stay in Helen Georgia, and never visit the shops, or fish through the town of Helen. There are times I come up here and just hunt and fish in the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Area, and maybe just go into the main city of Helen Georgia to grab a bite to eat.

This is a medium budget motel with a nice swimming pool, and very clean rooms. The environment is nice and cozy, and you feel like you are right on the edge of all the vacationing action.
